Immerse Yourself in the Naper Nights Community Concert Series

It’s almost time for one of the Naper Settlement’s most popular events of the year: Naper Nights Community Concert Series. Head over to nearby Naperville with a blanket and some friends to enjoy this annual musical tradition. The event also features delicious food and cold beverages, so come hungry!

Wall of Denial (June 15)

Wall of Denial is Chicagoland’s premier Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band. The group has performed together since 2011 and has a wide fan base throughout the area and beyond. Their lively shows often leave audiences in awe of lead singer Gary Stratton’s spot-on Stevie impression. Songs include “Lenny,” “Cold Shot,” and “Pride & Joy.”

The PettyBreakers (June 15)

Based out of Southern California, The PettyBreakers is the best Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band in the United States. They have entertained from coast to coast for the last eight years, and the members have performed and recorded with international artists. Their repertoire includes “Life is a Long Road,” “I Won’t Back Down,” and “Don’t Come Around Here No More.”

Tom Thumb’s Band (June 16)

Tom Thumb’s is a six-piece electric band that plays the tunes of Bob Dylan. They perform to sold-out crowds across Chicago, and some of the musicians are former members of Paradise Waits. Their setlist includes “It Ain’t Me Babe,” “I Want You,” and “Tangled in Blue.”

Old Shoe (June 16)

Old Shoe is a talented Americana roots band that’s based in Chicago. On this evening, they will perform Paul Simon’s songs from his Graceland album with the LowDown Brass Band. The setlist will include “I Know What I Know,” “Under African Skies,” and “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes.”
