Holiday Traditions in Romeoville

The holiday season is a time of celebration and joy. Everyone loves this season, and one of the highlights of any holiday season is the annual tree lighting! Being the tightly knit community that Romeoville is, residents at HighPoint apartments, along with their family and friends, are invited to this seasonal tradition.

On December 4th, Romeoville will hold the ceremony. The tree will be located outside of the Edward Hospital Athletic & Events Center, decked out with beautiful ornaments and festive decor. At 6 pm, the crowd will gather around to kick-off the season together.

This is just the beginning of the celebration! Afterwards, residents are invited to be a part of the Winter Wonderland event where The Romeoville Firefighters of the 4237 Fire Department will offer hot chocolate and cookies while sporting their flashy, decorated vehicles. Crafts, inflatables and children’s entertainment will also be available!

Not only will this event give residents of Romeoville a chance to mingle with one another, but individuals can also give back to their community. Residents must bring one non-perishable food item for admission, that of which will go towards the local food pantry donations.

Holidays spent in Romeoville are a wonderful time for friends and family! Check out HighPoint Apartments to learn more about our communities or contact us today for more information on the neighborhood.
