Fall Fun In Romeoville

Just because the summer season is coming to an end, doesn’t mean there isn’t any fun to be had in Romeoville. In October, there are two great events to choose from as the temperatures begin to dip into cooler temperatures. Grab some friends and neighbors from HighPoint apartments and head out to one of these events for some fall fun.

On October 1st, The annual Autumns Colors Craft show will be taking place at the recreation center from 9pm to 3pm. Guests can shop for items such as specialty gifts, food, pet supplies and items for the home. There will be over 100 booths for shoppers to browse. The Pampered Chef booth will offer chef’s tools and kitchen supplies, while the Tastefully Simple booth is perfect for those that love to entertain. Look for hand-crafted items such as jewelry, candles, home decor and floral arrangements. Find yourself needing something to nibble on? Stop by the bake sale or one of the other concession stands for a delicious snack to hold you over while you browse.

On October 15th, visit the Romeoville Fire Department for an open house in honor of fire prevention week. Get a tour of the fire house and learn more about preventing fires in your home through demonstrations by firefighters. There will also be other activities and refreshments available.

Head out in Romeoville this October for a variety of fun activities to keep you busy as the weather cools down. Contact us for more information if you’d like to learn about living in our community.
