Whether you like to take long walks or play sports, you can enjoy these activities and more at the Romeoville Park District.
Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center
This center welcomes approximately 400,000 visitors every year. The sports complex spans 76,000 square feet, and it offers something for all ages and skill levels as it is home to volleyball courts, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, a football field, indoor soccer field, and a driving range. It also hosts community events such as Romeoville’s Winter Wonderland.
Covering seven acres, Conservation Park provides plenty of fun for everyone. It features trails, nature areas, horseshoe pits, fishing, and a playground.
At Volunteer Park, visitors can enjoy skating at the skate park or playing baseball, soccer, or disc golf. Disc golf is a fun sport that mainly follows the rules of golf, only instead of a ball, players toss a disc into a hole which is a metal basket.
Adult Co-Ed Kickball
If you enjoyed playing kickball in gym class or after school with your friends, this new league is a great way to bring back memories. It’s non-competitive and open to all abilities.
