Mummies Night (October 27th)

Mummies Night is for everyone who enjoys fun, spooky evenings. The Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago is the host for this Egyptian-themed event. There will be mummy tours, simulations, and a mummy wrap race. All children must be accompanied by adults. You can even create a mummy to take home!

Oktoberfest @ Newman (October 27th)

After a fun time with Egyptian mummies, you’ll be ready for the popular Oktoberfest. All event participants must be 21 years of age to attend. You can order your ticket online for $40. Door admission is $50. Your ticket entitles you to generous amounts of brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, and German potato salad. Additionally, you’ll be treated to gigantic steins of German beer, wine, and spiced apple cider.

Don’t forget to sign up for the 50-50 raffle tickets! The drawing will be held at midnight, and you needn’t be present to win.

The Promenade Bolingbrook Fall Festival (October 28th)

The Promenade Bolingbrook will be hosting the fall festival from 11 am to 7 pm. You’ll be able to sample an amazing variety of artisanal baked goods and delicacies. Additionally, local artists will have beautiful crafts and homemade items on display. If you have products of your own to sell, you can even register to set up your own booth!
